PAC Hacks: How to Find, Participate In & Lead PAC Events

Whether you have been in the product world for years, or are just starting out in the space, live calls and programs in the PAC are designed to support your goals and we hope to see you at one of our live, online events soon. Here is a quick overview of how to find, participate in and (yes, even LEAD!) PAC live events. 

What is a PAC Call? 
PAC calls are live online events that are available exclusively to community members. Some calls are hosted by our PAC Ambassadors, some feature industry thought leaders, and others are led by your peers and fellow community members. Calls range in style from traditional presentations, to dynamic expert conversations, to collaborative round robin discussions. 

How do I join and attend a PAC call? Screen_Shot_2020-04-03_at_12_16_00_PM.pngSo glad you asked! Head on over to The "Events" tab in the top nav to see a full listing of upcoming events. You can also find a highlight of upcoming events on the
homepage of the PAC. Scroll through the upcoming events list to find PAC calls that interest you. Make sure you RSVP to the event and download it to your calendar. 

What do I do once I am on a call? 
You can participate in the way you feel comfortable. Whether you are asking questions to the host live, adding comments to the chat, or staying on mute to just listen in (we get it, live calls are a great time to eat your lunch). That being said, our recommendation for getting the most out of calls is to come prepared to learn and contribute. The most interesting events are the ones that are focused around YOUR questions and additions. We also recommend you turn your video on when possible to help others get to know you. 


Ok, I have attended a number of calls and now I know the drill. How do I take it to the next level?
Once you feel comfortable finding attending and participating in live PAC calls, consider leading a call as a host or a featured guest! The Community team here in the PAC is constantly looking for ways to help promote your skills and offer you leadership opportunities. Leading a call in the PAC is a great way for you to highlight recent work you are proud of, get your name out there to build your professional reputation and network, or even practice for a larger presentation you are giving at a conference or speaking engagement.
