Screen_Shot_2020-04-02_at_5_10_49_PM.pngHere in The PAC we are a community of impassioned product professionals working together to exchange the tools, examples and tactics that leave people asking “How did you do that!?”

This shared purpose is the mission around which all community activity centers. There are also specific actions that help move the community as a whole closer towards that mission. We like to call these the Key Behaviors. You will notice that these Key Behaviors pop up frequently around The PAC so we wanted to share bit more with you about what's behind them and what they mean for you.

1.) ASK others for ideas, suggestions and feedback on your work

What is a community of peers and connections for if not to lean on when you are working through challenges? You can (and should!) ask other PAC members for:

  • Crowd validation and review on work you have on your plate
  • Suggestions for how to apply Pragmatic training to your unique reality
  • Tacit knowledge and lessons learned from those who have been-there, done-that
  • Targeted feedback on your approaches or deliverables

2.) FIND peers like you, industry experts and knowledgeable mentor

The PAC allows you to invest in your career by connecting you with others who understand you. We encourage you to:

  • Use the Member Directory and join community Groups to connect with peers that are working in similar ways as you
  • Borrow innovative approaches from folks working in different channels... maybe take a peek in a group you might not have joined otherwise and see what's going on
  • Seek out a mentor or trusted advisor by reaching out to others with an @mention or a direct message. No need to be shy. Attending PAC events is a great way to find knowledgable folks.

3.) EXCHANGE tactics, examples and resources that move the needle

The Community works best when everyone puts in a little, and gets out a whole lot. You can help make this space great by:

  • Responding to questions other members have asked in the discussion spaces
  • Posting examples of work you have completed or templates you have crafted
  • Raising your hand to be the featured guest of a PAC-exclusive event
  • Becoming a trusted advisor yourself and moving into a mentorship role for others

As always, we remind you that this community is built for you, by you. Questions, feedback and suggestions are always welcome!
